We are a restoration and construction company serving homeowners and businesses across Oregon, Washington, and Arizona, and we have made it our mission to get families back home and businesses back to work as quickly and painlessly as possible.

Who We Are

Octopus Project Management was founded in June 2023 by two professionals who saw a gap in the restoration industry. Too many homeowners and business owners were being left in the dark during some of the most stressful moments of their lives: dealing with property damage, navigating insurance claims, and trying to find a contractor they could actually trust.

Co-owners Jared Moreda and Sheridan Maxey started this company because they believed there was a better way to do things. A way that puts people first, uses technology to keep projects moving, and holds every team member accountable from start to finish. Today, we serve homeowners and businesses across Oregon, Washington, and Arizona with a full range of plumbing, mitigation, and construction services.

What We Do

Octopus Project Management offers a comprehensive range of plumbing, mitigation, and construction services designed to handle everything from emergency response to full-scale reconstruction. Our plumbing department provides fixture installation, water heater installation, leak detection and repair, drain cleaning, sewer line repair, trenchless pipe technology, and water filtration systems. Our mitigation team handles water extraction, fire damage remediation, mold and microbial remediation, biohazard cleanup, contents cleaning, asbestos testing, lead-based paint testing, and abatement. Our construction crew delivers general contracting, comprehensive repairs, remodels, additions, drywall and framing, painting, cabinetry and built-ins, doors and windows, roofing, flooring, and hardware installation.

What makes us different from other restoration companies is our approach. We use a unique combination of in-house skilled trades and a vetted network of trusted partners to make sure every project gets the specialized attention it deserves. Our project managers use technology and live data to track progress, reduce delays, and keep costs under control for every homeowner and business we serve.

MEET THE FOUNDERS

Jared Moreda - Co-Founder

Jared Moreda is a certified General Contractor (GC) and Project Management Professional (PMP) with a deep passion for building things the right way. He graduated from Arizona State University with a business degree and a minor in Stress Management. After taking a position with a high-end fabricator, Jared quickly moved up in the company, earning management responsibilities in the restoration niche. Several million dollars in home restorations later, Jared recognized a better way to approach the restoration process and set out to bring that vision to every client Octopus serves. In June 2023, Jared partnered with his friend and colleague Sheridan Maxey to co-found Octopus Project Management with a clear goal: create a customer-centric and innovative company that uses technology and data to optimize restoration while never losing sight of the people behind every project. Jared leads day-to-day operations and is personally involved in making sure every client across Oregon, Washington, and Arizona receives a level of service that exceeds expectations. Whether coordinating a complex fire restoration or overseeing a residential rebuild, Jared brings a hands-on, results-driven approach to every project.

Sheridan Maxey - Co-Founder

Sheridan Maxey cofounded Octopus Project Management alongside Jared with a shared commitment to customer satisfaction and operational excellence. Sheridan graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice and later graduated from the University of Richmond School of Law with a focus on individual, business, and estate taxation. His legal and business background gives Octopus Project Management a strong foundation in compliance, strategic planning, and client advocacy. Sheridan plays a critical role in shaping the company's strategic direction and building the relationships that make long-term success possible. With a sharp focus on client communication and business development, Sheridan ensures that every homeowner and business owner we work with feels heard, informed, and confident throughout the restoration process. His dedication to transparency and accountability is a cornerstone of how Octopus Project Management operates in every community we serve.
